I don’t even get what happened...nobody bumped the Mustang...I can’t tell if he was looking on his phone or not....it just looks like he started to change lanes.....and then continued to change lanes right across the median... 0_o

Both wheels seem to be pointing in the same direction, so I don’t think one ti e rod let loose independent of the other. If this was a one-component mechanical failure, it’d have to be in the steering w heel or column, I think.
Probably a loose nut behind the wheel...

Hard to tell from afar, but as the car gets closer t o the camera, it looks like the driver is leaning over towards the passenger side. Trying to pick up something off the floor, maybe?
EDIT: I changed my mind. It’s hard to make out, but trying to track his head in the moments prior, I’m pretty sure h is bo dy was upright before crossing the median. The force of the crash must have caused him to lean over. If he was wearing a seat belt, it’s only a lap belt.

These are useful on things not to do. Although most are just bad luck.
The Mustang curse doesn’t apply to classic ones, does it?
